Czech fire-polished glass beads are made in the Czech Republic. The industry of glass bead making in Czech dates back as early as the 1500s, this glassmaking method was perfected in the early 18th century and within a few decades Czech glassmaking dominated the world markets. Fire-polished beads are faceted by machine then placed in a red-hot oven to achieve the desired glaze & high gloss.
